You can use this and make your own....

FS9/FSX Static Aircraft .mdl Maker ("SAMM")
File Description:
Tired of having to program AI (and suffer the overhead) just to have some "eye candy" sitting around your airport. No more! Static Aircraft .mdl Maker ("SAMM") will convert just about any FS8 or FS9 flyable or AI aircraft into a FS9 scenery model. (FSX will display most of these models satisfactorily.) Just "point" SAMM to the aircraft you wish to convert, decide where to save the scenery file and, presto, "eye candy". Most aircraft will convert using SAMM's default settings. Where, the static model is not quite right using default settings or if you want to make your static models as efficient as possible, SAMM includes a set of tools to help you.

Hi - I've got the latest version (the previous one had a bug?) but I still get messages telling me FS can't read the textures, so the aircraft all appear blank white or grey. I've read the instructions very carefully & followed them precisely but it still doesn't work....

I had the same problems with it trying to convert Lionhearts U-boat from Operation Valkyrie. Eventually just said the heck with it.

Possible cure!

Hi Clarkey,
Many thanks for the HU, good one!

For those having problems I had a trawl over at FSDeveloper.com where the prog designer Arno Gerretsen is based, and others have had the same prob.

The answer, I think, is to use the setting TEXTURE_BUILDING in the texture list and not the obvious TEXTURE_AIRCRAFT. If any options disappear at any stage, re-installation cures that.

On that forum it seems to have given people textured ac to a far distance.

Cheers Shessi

Thanks.

There are several come with "BCATP Manitoba Stations" from Flightontario.com.

Hi...where does this setting 'TEXTURE_BUILDING in the texture list' come from? I've just used SAMM1006 & didn't see that option anywhere.....

I just get scenery error messages & the aircraft appear blank. When I restart FS9 the textures are there but disappear as I fly away.....also textures vanish when I start Instant Scenery v2 & the error messages come back.....
I'll post this problem at FSDeveloper.com

The BCATP Manitoba Stations have aircraft in training yellow - I want combat camouflage or whatever's appropriate.....
