Stayin' Alive...RIP Robin

Blues is Life
Sure have been a lot of great musicians leaving us lately. RIP Robin Gibbs. :salute: I didn't follow disco too much but being a fan of blues and funk there is a lot of connection and a whole lot of soul.

I wasn't that big a fan of their disco era music, but I grew up with them in the 60s.

"Massachusetts"
"Holiday"
"I've gotta get a Message to you"
"I Started a Joke"
"New York Mining Disaster 1941"

and some of their Post disco era tunes.

Their first album was a classic...still play it all the time. Classic sixties!

Robin had the most unusual voice of the three. RIP - you gave many lots of enjoyment over the years

Been really bummed out lately with all the losses so far this year. :frown:

Here's my favorite Brothers Gibb song, on the 'Midnight Special', with Robin singing with his trademark hand over his ear...

"Nights On Broadway"
