still can't regester with the new Avsim site

Is anyone else having trouble regestering wit the new Avsim site? I know you have to use the same username and password that you used in the Libary which I did, but where it says "verify that your human" there is no regestration code to type in.

still the same problem, there is no regestration code generated to copy, or am I missing something? When I go down to "verify you are human" there is nothing else there.
 
I just went and checked, and the words are there for me, do you have flash and java installed? Maybe you're missing something needed to display them....just a thought.

Thanks guys but still no joy.I have Flash and Java installed ,and my cookies are cleared, went to the link stuart gave ,went to the page it said and when I tried to register with a new password and user name , when I gave my email,and clicked regester(there was no ,"are you human" line on this page) it said that email adress was already registered.For some reason Avsim doesn't want me back.
 
I can still log into the libary

As of right now I can still log into the libary ,haven't tried the forums yet, will do so now.
 
no joy with forums

Can't get into the forums,using the email and password I formerly used or the libary password but can still get into the libary ,but I have a feeling not for long.The whole problem stems from the fact that the registration code does not show up for some reason.It has always showed up with other sites that required one. Bout to give up on Avsim ,might try emailing them again,(they wern't much help last time I tried that).
 
I've been having similar problems with AvSim. For now I can still access the file library and I guess if gets to where I can't, I'll just quit going there.

I agree with you Willy when I can't get into the libary anymore than there are lots of other download sites.
Also registering with a new password and user name doesn't work unless you also change your email.If you try to register as a new member with the same email they say your email adress is already regestered.
 
I get the PROVE YOU ARE HUMAN run around too so it seems the library will be lost to me as well
 
Managed to register for the forum but not via any of the links issued by Avsim, What I did was google Avsim forums and registered there, done and dusted in five minutes.

I think there is something drastically wrong with what should be a easy operation with direct links

Rich I tried Googleing Avsim forms but it just took me back to the page with the "prove you are human" line.How did you do it?
 
I googled to the Avsim forum page and used the login/register box on the top right of the index page not any of the links in the forums, it worked fine from there.

Rich did you use the log in or register,and did you use your old user name and password or a new one?It did'nt work for me said I had the wrong password and when I tried a new one they still said I was using the wrong one.
I tried registering again but that brought up the page with "are you human again," .I tried the "did you forget your password "and they said I was using the wrong registration code ,when they didn't even show a registration code.I give up on Avsim.
 
hurricane3, I just went straight to the register button in the top right corner of the index page where the forums are listed and got a completely different page to those lousy links that leave you stuck with that are you human junk, that page had the letters to copy in the required box.

I opened a new account since I was never registered for the forums only the library, try again but go for register not login it maybe it is locking on to your login attempt and seeing what it considers wrong info.

Other than that it may require a long drawn out email session, there is definitely something wrong with the current set up.
