Still YET trying to install ETO

I welcome anyone's help in explaining my dilema.
After I install ETO into the CFS3 directory to copy the files in Program Files/Microsoft Games/, and then transfer ETO to any directory of my choice, it won't transfer CFS3.exe, everything else but the .exe file. Moreover, when or if I run MultiCFS3.exe, it won't recognize anything I type in the window. When I try to run ETO, a window says the CFS3 exe file is missing, which when I go back to look and see and it sure is missing.
Why or WHO ever developed this expansion made Program Files the default directory? Has anybody ever installed CFS3 to any "default" directory except Program Files (x86)? The Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3 default directory is Program Files (x86).
I go to special painstaking care to install a special clean edition install of CFS3 not to the default x86 directory but to the default listed by the developers of ETO of Program Files (period).
This is all messed up. and then when I'm finished with the install, I have ETO everywhere in multiple locations, all because of default settings.
It would've been so much easier to just eliminate any default locations in this ETO install but, NO, I have to fight this default install and I'm not having any luck. grrrrrrrr!

BTW, I have installed and I'm playing without error: Korea, MAW, PTO and a modded Firepower CFS3 and an unmodded clean CFS3. and I don't blame anyone
if they don't understand my question because I don't really know how to ask it.

I'll be back. I'm off to the liquor store.

oh and, the install directions read me seem to me to be flawed. after ETo copies the CFS3 files, the read me says the autoinstaller will run but it does not run. it HAS TO BE RUN; IT HAS TO ESPECIALLY BE CLICKED TO RUN inside the list of CFS3 list of files.

I'll be back. I'm off to the liquor store.

Rich, get and read the ETO Installation Guide; it will tell you all you need to know about installing ETO to Windows 7 64-bit (and any other supported OS)
