Hello folks,

Is there any possibility to modify the texture mapping of this nice airplane, as it is almost impossible to repaint it?
Lots of nice new textures could be possible, but the engine cover mapping makes it impossible to repaint, and the tail repaint is also kind of a drama.

I know, my first ever repaint, I chose this one, Doh!! I did manage to map paint the nacelle eventually through hours of trial and lots more error. She had a blue tail is all I remember, I lost that paint many moons ago IIRC.

But is there any solution?
I left a message to the creator of this lovely bird, but got no answer.

If anybody knows how to modify the texture maps, he's welcome.

Main Panel

I removed the main panel as I fly out of Virtual Cockpit exclusively even though there are no clickspots in VC select the F5 key and a pop up window comes up with all you should need I like to drag it around a bit to just have the DF gauge showing for hand flying low wx approaches personally

Description: Lockheed Hudson Mk IV for CFS2 by Dave Carroll modified by Paul F Straney for CFS2.

Some Gauges borrowed from R.L. Clarke off David Eckert's ground breaking b-26 and Arne Bartels Sperry Mark III gauge from way back in fs2000.

Sound file from lawdog2360 for the Wright R-2600 Cyclone engine.

Repaints

Can anybody come up with some cool repaints for the Hudson ?
Paul says hes still got the origional source codes gonna try and do an update in a couple weeks
 
I did a couple RNZAF paints for the MkIII Hudson years ago, it was for FS2004, almost finished, but ran into problems with the paint program so shelved them. The problem was sorted out later but didn't get around to finishing them. Also have some RNZAF paints for the Malinowski P40n. If there's some interest I would be happy to finish the Hudson paints and upload them for CFS2.
