STOL testing the Kodiak

Lionheart

SOH-CM-2014
Hey guys,

A mini movie of my form of STOL testing with the Kodiak.

In the past, I have always used this field for takeoff and landing testing. Its great as it has alot of room for both a takeoff, and a landing, and sometimes room for many, before you have to turn around and start over.

Anyways.. Just thought I would do a movie for some reason and this is it.

I found that if you save your Fraps movies to a diff HD, you save frame rates. Some valuable info for you guys that do this. I had never known that till now.

Nothing big.. One min video, if that.

Looking forward to the new Kodiak, too! :jump:

EDIT: Just took a look at your Hi-Res vid. Very, very sweet! You can really get a good look at the lines of the Kodiak. Super job!

Hey guys,

I did this for a co-heart that is working with me on the project, showing the basics of the cockpit. It gives you an idea of the new VC, what it looks like, etc. Remember, work in progress, not finished yet. Things like the 'otto' are still being refined.

I dont know why, but YouTube 'scrunched' this video in tight. this was a wide screen with black area top and bottom. Shouldnt have turned out like that (should have fit in the normal window..) Oh well. arrgh......

Hmmm not sure why but seeing all of this makes me think that you should build a C208, Bill. :applause:

Holy CRAP! Having just ordered a copy of FS2004, I think I just found my first payware aircraft for it! That was amazing! The VC is beyond anything I have experienced in CFS2 flying....even in converted FS2004 aircraft.

Looks great Bill. :applause:

On thing tho.... if you use flaps on takeoff could you get off the ground faster? :kilroy:
