Good find Tom, love the Storch. Iconic aircraft of WWII. Hanna Reitsch is reported to have landed one near the Brandenburg Gate in the last days of the war offering to take Hitler out of Berlin. He refused. With Reitsch, was von Greim who was wounded leaving Hanna at the controls. They landed on an improvised airstrip in the Tiergarten area near the Gate. Both left Berlin in a Arado AR 96 trainer. Red Army troops were firing at them as they landed and took off. One can only imagine what things were like.

I'm very excited about this! The FSAddon Storch was one of my absolute favorites in FSX, and I've been hoping for a Storch in MSFS. With MSFS, we have some much better scenery to enjoy when flying so slow.

It was also used to rescue Mussolini from a mountain lodge. This is one amazing aircraft. Thanks for the heads up!

Don BP;)

Still hoping someone will do the "good guys" equivalent (Westland Lysander), but having seen a Storch fly during one of the Paul Allen Flying Heritage Collection airshows back in 2009, it'll be fun to fly it. It was amazing how slow it could fly.

For those of us who can't wait to fly a Storch, there's a conversion available on flightsim.to:

It’s a port over, though, not a native port /upgrade. So no switches work, and it crashes in VR.

I saw the liveries before I saw the plane and thought the real MSFS version had surprise shipped early, but alas, this is yet another half-port with all the quirks that entails.

Still, if you want a Storch NOW and are willing to sacrifice VR and modern flight dynamics, it’s there and free! :)

Indeed, just checked the download. It's a port, no native models included, not even the exterior ones.

I think that the use of the word "conversion" is misleading here. It's not a conversion, it's a portover.
