Storm of War is the first part of a new flightsim series by Oleg Maddox. It has nothing to do with CFS. Not sure I understand your question....
I sure hope that SOH will open it's own forum section for the sim when it comes out, it has nothing in common with IL2, except the creator's name.

i got no idea saw a video looked ok , thought this board might know , i like the battle of britina stuff grat stuff here , did wonder if ETO , will rendered more missions soon on this time frame ,,,,
 
BOB.Aldertag should be possible now that many bases have factories attatched to them. This was a crucial link in the campaign engine in CFS3. I was thinking of trying on soon to see how it fared.
 
The Xbox game is different and called Birds of Prey. SOW:BOB is the brand new simulator from Oleg Maddux and I think late 2009 is wishful thinking. It doesn't really matter because the work he is doing is brilliant. The only thing I hope is that he makes it open like the CFS series. Just my 2 cents.

To clear up some of the confusion: There is another company, called Gaijin Entertainment, that has bought the license for the IL2 series. A console version will come out for Xbox and Playstation 3. It is called IL2: Birds of Prey.


Storm of War: The battle of Britain is a simulator and will be released on PC only. It is the beginning of a new series of combat flight sims with a new engine and some revolutionary features, like real time calculated air, working radar, AI that learns tactics over time and much much more.
