Strange Behaviour

Here's an odd one.

I recently found I was suddenly unable to save a flight, or load a saved flight, without a no-warning CTD - on every attempt.

Following a fair amount of Googling, I tried a number of remedies regarding configs, dlls and xmls - even as far as reinstalling older working backups (and even my entire fleet of AI as in one suggestion) - all with no success.

After a great deal of frustration, and really just by luck, I discovered the cause was a recently downloaded freeware glider from Wolfgang Piper's fsglider.de site: https://www.fsglider.de/p_e.htm - the DG-101-15, his latest version for FSX/P3D released just last month.

On removing this from my aircraft folder the problem was gone.

Now, I had no saved flights with this aircraft - I had not even got as far as trying it in the sim. Would anyone know what it might be (in an untried aircraft folder) that may cause such seemingly unrelated behaviour?

I do have other gliders from Wolfgang's site (although not currently installed) that I know perform problem free. And great addons they are, too.

Gary.
