Strange Blue Line

For the longest time now off in the sim's distance I've notice a faded blue line running across my scenery. Anybody experience the same anomaly or have any idea what its all about ? Running MSFS 2020 Deluxe Premium, RTX 3060 card 16 GB Ram 2.9 GHZ getting good frame rates at medium to ultra settings. Have upgraded several airports in my local area but no addon scenery to speak of. Regards

Does it run horizontally along where the horizon would be in mountainous areas?

If so, it's a known issue with MSFS, and Asobo have said it's not getting fixed.

Yes, horizontally running thru the mountainous areas, wow ! Here I'd thought something had been installed wrong @#$% which is causing this visual concern. Cheers for that.

Yep, I have it too - it's been there from day one. If you look at people's screenshots here, it can often be seen. Maybe they'll do something about it in FS24

Hello Aircanuck,
Same on my side since day one...
Cheers,

Stéph.

It also has to do with where the sun is in relation to where you're looking. I can't remember the details, but I think you'll see it if the sun is behind you. Or in front - not sure. Either way, you don't always see it, but it's most common in mountain regions.

It's probably a shader issue, since I was getting a similar bug back in XPlane11 when I had added some shaders addon to improve the colors/lighting :)
