• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Strange Error - Access to is Denied!

SOH-CM-2025
Over the last few weeks I have started getting a pair of strange dialog windows pop up whenever I close P3D, that look like the attached image. I am using P3D v4.5 and have installed both ORBX and active sky.

I do not run my p3d instance in administrator mode, even though active sky complains about it because I don't want any package I install in it having administrator rights to muck about on my system, and really all you have to do is make the as_srv folder in p3d write-able by everyone and active sky works fine.

I was just wondering if anyone has seen this before and if so what was the solution.

Are you flying the SWS Phantom?

SWS was suppose to be releasing a fix for that, but I haven`t heard any news.

I was not flying the SWS Phantom but do have it installed, that must be the issue.
Turns out I use the Midway far more than I do the F4, but the dialog windows appear weather I use them or not.
