    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Strange FSX behaviour...

Hi, everybody,

some time ago, I posted about my unability to fix the ruined propblur of the SU P-38, no redownloading, no reinstalling helps, the sim "remembers" only the ruined one.
Yesterday things turned out even more strange: I wasen´t able to remove a freshly installed Carenado repaint and could not install two Realair repaints.- ok - systemrestore. The Realair repaints now installed easily, but the Carenado skin is still there : -aircraftcfg entry is gone, -texture folder for that skin is deleted, but the skin appears in the aircraft menue and is perfectly flyable...?!
What´s going on? Any chance to wipe out that "memories"?

I should have taken a closer, more "relaxed" look, the repaint sits on a default paint, from which files were borrowed...:sleep:
