Stuttering problem

Haven't had anything like this for a long time. Finished reinstalling a new FS9 setup. Used the same cfg file. I have fps locked at 30 and consistently get 29+. But it stutters. It's smooth for maybe 10 seconds and then catches a few times especially when turning. Then smooth for a while. Can't figure it out. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,i had similar problem for long time, try to change these lines in fs9.cfg:
TERRAIN_DEFAULT_RADIUS=0.000000
TERRAIN_EXTENDED_RADIUS=0.000000
TERRAIN_EXTENDED_LEVELS=0
Just make backup of fs9.cfg before editing something

Nice thing is I don't have anything else in the background. I'm using the multi-core program so FS9 runs on core 2 while everything else runs on core 1. This program increased my fps by 10.

Have you done a defrag? makes a BIG difference when adding any large number of files. Especially if your defrag program can sort by folder/file name.
