• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Summer Nights

Hey look! A Holy Grail!

I can see some people being very exited about this (the TOW lads - if they aren't involved already) and some aircraft that need retrofitting with this magical black box. Great job!
Is it a true 3D box or a gauge? If it is the latter, we can stick it onto a 3D box, can't we?

That looks awesome! Any way we can add that to the Groundcrew night fighters? Is this set up through AnKors shaders?

Thanks for watching the video!

The 'black box' is modeled into the vc of the aircraft but requires an external program to function like AutoHotkey. Just applying what I have learned with Dan working on the Spitfire along with some new tricks.

It's still in experimental form but seems to work and much more detail can be added. The tough part is building a robust user friendly program for general use.

WOW! I second NachtPiloten and gecko as that is something we have been thinking about since Ted first started doing all the nachtjagd! This is really exciting!:pop4::jump::applause:

EDIT: Thinking even further; as someone who has tried 'Falcon BMS' where there are add-ons which put gauges on to different monitors and even other devices; do or could the tools used to produce this effect achieve the same result? In other words could this even be viewed on a separate monitor?
