Every morning on discovery HD (DCTHD) I watch from 7 am to 8 am Sunrise Earth,
recorded in HD with no comericals, sights and sounds of nature waking up as the sun rises, every location is in the wild and different every day, today it is Finloch South Island NZ. What a nice place to wakeup to.
This is my quiet hour well mostley, lol, it just kills my 2 parots to keep quiet. They usually make it till 7:45.

It is also my favorite time of the day. I love watching the sun rise. It is just a nice mix of energy and peacefulness at the same time.

Any day I wake up breathing and able to hear and see the sights and sounds around me is a good day! :wavey:

I'm a morning person ... or at least most of the time I am ... I can be up in an instant with the first light through the window.
 
I am up most days at 3:00am. Wonderful time of day. I can get almost a days work by 7:00 or 8:00. It's amazing how much I can get done.
 
I get up at 4-5 am, by 7 am I am done with my early morning computer work, and this TV program is really relaxing and a good way to jump start the rest of my day.

Ah, well behaved parrots. My parrot will at the first hint of outside light repeat everything he knows as loud as he can. Fortunately I am up between 2 and 3 am.
 
Wow.. That sounds pretty cool. I'll have to see if thats available.

I remember back in the days, HBO was new and didnt have 'any' commercials what so ever. Part of the beauty of pay-tv. They would have these 20 or 30 min. intermissions, and it was a person taking a walk somewhere on a trail, or on a bike, etc. Pretty cool. Gave you a moment to run get more popcorn, etc.

I love the mornings.. Dawn is the best, and sunsets (at least in Phoenix, all red and yellow) are peaceful at times too.

By the way, for those that have problems sleeping, there is a cool program that comes on late at night and lasts till about 4AM roughly. Its hours of calm music and nature. Its called NatureScapes. You can watch it on Daystar tv. Nice for those that have sleeping issues.
 
I thought I was the only one up early enough to watch it...lol.

I usually watch before I leave for school...though I would prefer to see them in person.:ernae:
 
ive seen that myself..it is nice..i also like skyview on HDnet...i dont get real sunrises here..i live on the backside of a ridge..sun just pops up suddenly...but i get some awesome sunsets..im 1250 foot elevation on the sierra nevada foothills..and in my location..i look out on a draw that goes to the sacramento valley floor at lincoln ca..i look right at the airport..at 67 feet about sea level...its something to see as the sun sets over that big beautifll valley
 
I'm definitely not a morning person unless you count staying up till 3am as being a morning person.
 
I love HD Theater. It has better stuff than alot of the other channels combined.
