As it isn't possible to upload pictures at present, and I don't have time right now to upload everything to Photobucket, just thought I'd invite you to come on over to the website to catch up on the project if you haven't been there in a while:

http://www.flight-replicas.com/Super_Cub.htm

It's coming along, although there always seems to be something new to do. Haven't started on the amphib floats yet, but hope to get started on that sometime soon.

It's amazing where you can land and take off from in this thing.

:)

Goodness Mike,

Your Super Cub is looking like its nearing completion. That VC is brilliant.

I would have to say the bright red and white paint scheme is my fave.

:applause:

Love the green and off white version with the big tires, that VC is superb too!:applause::applause::applause:

Can't wait to do some bush wacking in the North country! Then some patrols over Berlin and some night fighting in a jet!:engel016::applause::icon_lol:

Mike,
Truly amazing!:applause::applause::applause:
Any idea of the release date?
I got to keep some space on my CC....

Just got back from taking the real one on a float flying tour in the Brooks Range in Arctic Alaska. Lots of fun except for the eight plus bux a gallon gas.... Will try to post a few pix after I develope the digits.

Mike has I think every screw in the cockpit!!!!

Cheers: Tom

Incredible.

I've never been 'lead' to buy a Cub before, but man, this will definitely make it in to my hanger...especially after my addition of Tongass.

I'm really loving the looks of the Extreme version you have with the 35" tires. I have seen a few videos of Super Cub's landing in very very small spots and am wondering if performance like that will be replicate din this model? Will it be ble to slow down bu "landing" on the water? Can it do a brakestand and have it's tailwheel off the ground? Either way, I will be buying this. It is looking great.

Wow Mike, that VC has to be one of the best I've seen yet!
Knowing what goes into work like that I have to stand up & :applause:

Slightly off topic, but as I had a good time today, just thought I'd share it: took the afternoon off to do a little research for the Cub Special project. The owners of this aircraft have had it for some 40 years, so it's a very original Cub Special. It's just up the road from me (so to speak!), and the owners are just about the nicest people you could ever meet. Soooo... spent some happy hours taking detail pics and poking around. Didn't have time to fly, but we'll do that next time.

:)

Mike
