Yes sure this process can work and can be customizable for all sims (the only thing you need is patience and time to check every modification one by one).
First of all, I asked both GPT and DeepSeek to check, correct, and analyze my .cfg files (such as prepar3d.cfg). Then, I told them I wanted to improve the graphics and eliminate the cartoon-style look to make the sim as close to real life as possible. DeepSeek had me modify several settings in the prepar3d.cfg (I tested each change carefully, no more than two at a time, to avoid compromising the sim's stability). Several times, I told both GPT and DeepSeek that I wanted more detail and the best possible graphics without sacrificing performance. Step by step, they guided me in tweaking shaders, ASP3D settings, REX Sky Force, and bring me to finally install ReShade with a custom preset designed to best replicate real life visuals.
The sweet spot ended up being certain values in the [TERRAIN], [SCENERY], and [DISPLAY] sections — especially settings like [JOBSCHEDULER] AffinityMask=85. Since my PC doesn’t have a dedicated GPU, DeepSeek recommended installing Process Lasso to better manage system resources for P3D.
Now the best part is that I don't even remember all the steps I followed because I spent several days optimizing and that's where AI really shines. I ask now GPT and DeepSeek to give me a detailed summary, and here it is (see attachment)!
