I'm sure this won't come as news to guys who've been flying CFS2 for a long time, but it was to me. I need to explain.

I have just gotten an install of PTO going using Rhumba's mesh, and thanks to Rami....your guide was of inestimable value to a hack like me. Next came UT's Caroline's and New Britain scenery. Very, very nice. And so while flying around to UT's nice new bases of course I noticed that they all had auto-refueling. Another nice touch, but not new. Many of MR's bases have similar facilities, as do ETO bases by Achim. What has always been lacking in CFS2 was rearming and battle repair, so I thought.

Quite by accident, I found that pushing the ALT key to bring up the drop down menu, and selecting Aircraft and then Change/Modify and OK (having changed and modified nothing), I was returned to the game with a new load out of ammo and all battle damage repaired. I know the battle damage was repaired because I used the STOCK A6M2 which shows bullet holes and flew it in QC, took hits from and enemy AC and they were gone when I returned to the game. I tried this in Free Flight, QC and a TEST mission. All three modes seemed to allow this.

It's not like driving up to the Oil tank and seeing your gas gauge go from empty to full, but it will do until something better comes along.

Yes, you have to do it that way. Only the multiplayer venue repairs battle damage and rearms you (rearms only if you have damage to repair) once you come to a complete stop on the runway. In the scenery I've built I also use the refueling squares.
