awhile ago , there was a link to a beautiful mirage III of the swiss air forcethat was in development . now , because of my last computer crash , i have lost the link and cannot find it anymore .
does anyone know where i could find infos on this bird ?
otherwise , which are the best mirage III and 2000 available for FS9 right now ?

The best Mirage 2000 currently available is a Mirage 2000N (dual seat) made by Rollus.

This is the BEST, for FS9 and FSX.

Also, Rollus is currently developping a new Mirage 2000-5 (single seat), but nobody knows when it will be finished. They said something like "definitely before christmas, but we don't know which year yet..." :d

When it comes to the Mirage III, there is one payware that was released recently if I'm not mistaken. For the freeware, I think I'm not the only one desperatly waiting for this one: http://www.opus2.ch/page_7.htm
 
I think the website you are looking for is SkySim.co.uk. They are doing the Mirage III and V project that was originally at AlphaSim.

i didn't know about the skysim model . it looks really good .
i thought the rollus one was the best 2000 but just needed confirmation and the freeware mirage III was exactly the one i was looking for .

yep , i know about it and it is a relly amazing plane , but since i have it , i was just looking for the fighters mirages , especialy the MIII ( one of my favorite classic jetfighters along with the phantom and the mig21 ) .

That's now the skysim.co.uk Mirage III mentioned above. They've made progress on it as they've been making the correct panel for each version.

BTW Yago9, do you have a website with your textures up yet? I lost most of your textures when my original FS9 install HD crashed and I need your Iris MiG-27 texture again. :d

The initial release will be FSX. The plan as of last month is for an FS9 version to be completed sometime after the FSX version is on sale. There are quite a few things that will need to be changed for FS9 as is typical of building backwards -- some features will have to be ommited. It will also need a full set of gauges since those in the FSX version are all 3D.

Honestly this cockpit (there are three basic variations included -- IIIE, IIIRD, and 5) is worth trying to get FSX up and running. I did with an extra stick of RAM (now running 3G) and a much better but old and cheaply available video card (7600 GS with 512MB) and I'm still grinning from ear to ear. :d

Thanks for the update Frank! Will def be buying Mark's Mirage for FSX but likely be awaiting Isra's Mirage for FS9. Fair enough balance. How can anyone go wrong on that deal!

I made for the Flighsimweekend last Weekend in Switzerland a 5 minute Video.

The sad story is that I crashed my PC 10 Days ago, Powersupply,
Mainboard, RAM's, CPU and Harddisk are gone!:frown: The good News,
I made a copy of the HD 2 Days before, so there are no Data's lost. :naturesm:
But it will take a little while until I got a new System.

Unfortunately I can't run FSX right now... my computer won't handle it! :costumes:

Good news indeed, for a few seconds I've been really anxious. I am waiting for your Mirage since months ! You are doing an excellent job with that bird ! :ernae:
