Hello gents,

I'd like to let you know that we're working on some fixes for the Phantom, but as our team grew a lot, we are now able to work on four other projects as well.

The first one is the Midway, which we are trying to wrap up soon. It will come with a new set of statics pertaining to a 1970s composition. This composition will also move to the Coral Sea to reflect a 70's deployment. The package will be completed with the 60's Coral Sea that shipped with the F-4B, a small escort fleet and an oiler to go with them. Right now, we're missing three planes and some details to enter testing.

The second project is the MiG-17. While we have several variants almost ready, our current focus is the -17F. The MiG will come with high detail systems, TacPack and (at last) C gauges, which will mean improved performance. A new programmer with great skills is already making good progress with new technology and systems work. The plane will soon enter its painting and animating phase, while cockpit work will start soon.

The third project will be the T-37 Tweet. Jamal has the exterior model to a state where we can show it, while a very competent programmer and T-37 fanatic has his hands on its systems!

Looking great Alex!

I can't help remembering our good friend Randy Daniell and how much he would love that Tweet!

Great to hear that Jamal is on the T-37. I suspected he would be. Looking forward to whatever he produces. Had a fair amount of time as an Egress Tech on that and the A-37 Dragonfly.

Oh my world! A fantastic set of forth coming projects, sorely overlooked. These will all be must buys for me. Question, will they be P3D compatible too?

Also, I will give you my next unborn if you also offered an A-37.....would fit the Vietnam scheme greatly........just saying. :biggrin-new:

Wait a minute.......are the wingtip tanks a clue that he'll be making an A-37?.........

The "Flying Dog Whistle". I used to HATE standing fireguard on the Tweet's during engine start when they came into our FBO ramp. Even with Ears (hearing protectors) the sound was downright ear splitting! The only other engines I hated standing in front of were the RR Viper (on the old Hawker 125's) and the RR Spey (on the GII/III aircraft). Still, the Tweet to me had a lot nastier intake screech.

At Luke AFB one day we had an EB-66 stop by at Transient Alert. I've heard T-37s and they're bad but that EB was right up there with the Tweet. What a screamer!!

Yes, they'll be P3D compatible from day one. There is some new tech going into them which will save us a lot of headache from the porting.

It seems you lost the bet! We are considering the A-37, yes. I will post more on it when we have something solid to show, though.

:redfire: You Sir, are the man! In lieu of a child, perhaps a bottle of Scotch?

I'm too young to remember the EB-66 (I only saw one when I was very young) but I handled a couple of EA-3B's which came in during 1989-90. Not sure how the 66's Allison J71 screech differed from the PW J57-P-10 in the old EA-3B but the latter was quite irritatingly loud as well!
