Taco's here we go again!

:wiggle:Hot Dog! Hehe, I made it. The weather could have been a lot better, but with Old Dudley we made it. Who would have thought it!

Landed at VVNT

:untroubled::untroubled:hehe, we do so good, hehe, going to give it another try. Leaving VVNT to VVPC. A short flight.

:wavey:Hi!, took a long time for this short flight, darn phones! Again, the weather was questionable a number of times, but for most of the junkets the weather clears enough on approach and landing, weird!

:very_drunk: Hehe a safe landing at VVPC, At least, I am learning to fly the C-130!

:adoration:hey there! So far so good, so we are going to give it another go. Leaving VVPC and heading for VTUU. Learning to fly the C-130E using MS generic Weather.

:dizzy:Hey there, we made it again, surprise, we had gentle weather. :encouragement:

Landed at VTUU. Will be staying over night here and get a fresh start to VVDN in the AM. S0 see you all tomorrow.:very_drunk:

:wavey:Happy Sunday Morning!

We will be taking off from VTUU to VVDN, sure hope things have quieted down over there at VVDN sure don't want any new boolet holes in this here bird. hehe :biggrin-new:

I have tried 3 times to fly the above flight. I have had the Captiansim's C-130E for FSX for sometime now, and have had nothing but problems with it. OK, here the problem, and no reply from CS, the electrical system goes dead just a few minutes into any flight. The last couple of flights it has worked with just the problem a few times. I also have the C-130E for FS9 and have never had this type of problem. If any one could help with this it would be appreciated.

Could there be a generator switch someplace you're missing turning on when you start up?
A "fix" to needing a Gen SW but not having one on the panel is to start the flight with a default plane, like a C172, B737 or something on the runway, running, from the freeflight screen. THEN switch over to the C-130, after you're sure the default plane's generator, battery, avionics, etc are all switched on.
I don't KNOW that that will solve the problem, but it may point you in the right direction, maybe. I had that problem with a B206, no I don't recall which one, but loading the default B206 first, then switching over solved it. So I put in a Generator switch in the trouble bird, and voila! Problem solved. Again, it may, or may not, fix your situation.

Just a thought. Hope it helps!
Pat☺

Edit: Is it a freeware plane? If it is, may I inquire as to which zipfile it is, and from where? Maybe I can DL it and take a look to see what's what? No promises, but...

You could also try adding this entry to your electrical section if there is not one already to see what happens.

[electrical]
electric_always_available = 1

:encouragement:Hey fellows thanks for the help with my problem with the electrical system on the C-130E from Captainsim FSX. Played around with things and it worked. Now all I have to do is remember what the heck I did. hehe.

:very_drunk:Landed a VVDN, and all it is calm. surprise!

:wavey:Hey there! Now if I can remember what I did in order for the electrical system to keep working! hehe.

:running:Heading to VTUW from VVDN

:encouragement:Hello, Wow! this has been a real bugger to complete, started yesterday, R/L issue came about, and some problems, again, with the C-130. Hehe today, same old problem with the electrical service shutting down, but we final made it!

Landed at VTUW believe or not! Hope better luck on the next flights.

:wavey:Hey there everybody, weather is nice, got a couple of peanut butter sandwiches, and plenty of fresh ground coffee beans. Ah....home made coffee, HEHE! Old Dudley tells me he makes the best coffee in the Air Force and we shall see.

OK, enough of the baloney! I sure hope this trip from VTUW to VVCI is a lot easier than one we have made in the past.:encouragement:

:dizzy:I sure hope that I have the problem of having my electrical go dead on the Lockheed C-130E. The last flight it worked AOK, so going to give it a try again.:wavey:

Hey, Taco and Crew will be leaving UTUW for VVCI flying the C-130 in 1970 texture.

For duenna information please see Taco's Nightmare. Got so excited about completing the flight from VTUW to VVCI put the duenna in the wrong folder. You all know one of those Senior things.

Jim:banghead:

:encouragement:Well all, let me see if I get this right this time.

Leaving VVCI to VVNB. The Hanoi Hilton was recommended for an overnight stay, but some friends from the past said. "Ain't no way!":biggrin-new:

:applause:Well now, that was a short run. Hey, but we made it not in record time flying by the numbers. At one point it looked like we might have an fighter escort to Hanoi, it so they stayed far behind us. hehe

Taco and Dudley and Crew landed at Hanoi VVNB in our C-130E

:wavey:Hey, good morning.

Woke up this AM and took my 50# 4 and half months old St. Bernard puppy for a walk at in the bush. Big question with that pup who is the walkie or the walker. hehe.

Enough of the local stuff. Taco and Dudley and Crew will be leaving VVNB Hanoi for VVDB DienBien. :encouragement:
