Talk by He-162 pilot & Q&A session

Quite fascinating, at one point he was saying it was dangerous and not normal practice to to bail out of the He162 because of the jet engine behind the cockpit...the pilot would go into the intake. He could not bail out for that reason after an attack by a p-51 and but he managed to crash land on a field and was also badly wounded. Also he was only 17 and was flying jet fighters!
