Team SDB USS Enterprise in Prepar3D

Skippy Bing is currently testing the FSX Acceleration Enterprise in P3D and initial reports suggest that the carrier works OK with a couple of mods. Before installing a few folders have to be created within the main Preper3D folder as below:

Missions/Military/CarrierPractice/Sound/. Our english language LSO uses sound
files from that folder string. Populate the "Sound" folder with these files from FSX.

CarrierPractice_21.wav
CarrierPractice_22.wav
CarrierPractice_23.wav
CarrierPractice_24.wav
CarrierPractice_16.wav
CarrierPractice_17.wav
CarrierPractice_19.wav
CarrierPractice_33.wav
CarrierPractice_09.wav

The supplied wake effect is at 90 deg. to the horizontal so open the sim.cfg file in the carrier folder and make this alteration:

Effects]
wake = fx_CVN65_wake

to read

Effects]
wake = fx_wake_carrier

On page 4 of the installer you will have to navigate to your Prepar3D installation using the button to the right of the window.

Team SDB is working on a dedicated P3D Enterprise installer and new sound files.

OK it's been a while now but the P3D installer is now completed and should be available during next week in Pilot Shop. I must point out that the Big E is essentially the same as the FSX one but now the installer is P3D dedicated and also contains custom LSO sounds. ( They don't exist in P3D). The saved flights use a default P3D aircraft and it must be replaced by your own 3rd party carrier aircraft since LM don't provide one.
