I've tried to find the owner or whereabouts of those Avengers for a while. I've seen them flying low along the beach front up my way during peak holiday periods, but never knew where they were based.
 
.........AFAIK they sleep at beaudesert at Wirraway Aviation Museum(grass strip) and COOLONGATTA (Air Gold coast)

WAM is all still under construction at the moment and will become aus 2 active ww2 museum as hangars and bits and pieces are being restored and brought from all over aus including Genuine articles from DARWIN and WA

which steve managed to buy from the states (only cause they knew that it would be well taken care of and flying regularly)

Thanks for that E. It's just so hard to find things like that on the aircraft registry in Australian. Looks like a little drive to Beaudesert coming up.
