I don't know why it took me so long to do this one, as it's one of the best looking G-6s I know!
 
Looks great! But what was the significance of the green fuselage stripe?

From early 1944 onwards, each Geschwader ( = +/- RAF Group) affected to Homeland Defence carried its own specific coloured band. JG 1 and JG 300 were red, JG 2 yellow/white/yellow, JG 3 white, and so on. JG 27 used this green band. They are generally wider than the theatre bands used in the Mediterranean and on the Eastern Front, so it's quite easy to tell them apart. You'll see most Bf109s were carrying these markings by the end of the war.
