Just wanted to say thank you to all the wonderful modders here at SOH. Thanks for keeping CFS3 alive for all these years. Have a good deal of free time to play some of my combat flight sims and CFS3 is included in the list to play today. Still fun after all these years. Have many combat flight sims but keep coming back to CFS3 and all the expansions for it. Enjoying the BoB installs today and oh what fun and immersive to boot. Thanks for all the work involved. All is quiet on the home front. Either people are busy enjoying the CFS3 expansions or moved on. Hope people are just enjoying CFS3 and not the other. CFS3 is among the top sim for WWII that i have along with Il-2 '46. Both may be old but nothing has surpassed them when it comes to content and fun factor in single player mode. See work still being done and that keeps me hopeful for a bright future. Looking forward to WOTR being worked on by OBD. Promises to be outstanding.....hopeful . Regards,Scott

I don't think you need to worry about people moving on! Looking at the threads and the number of views, there seem to be a lot of shy people out there! I mean an awful lot - which is a shame, the name of the game is sharing problems and learning from each others' mistakes :ernaehrung004:
 
Thanks for lifting up my spirits. Maybe more people will be less shy and share their thoughts and advice. Do notice many views just not a lot of interaction . Maybe this will change for the better.
 
Summer is a slow time every year, and for a while there we had an annual "CFS3 is dead" thread. The past few years have been a lot better, thanks mainly to Steve and Ted and John putting out new work on a regular basis and the massive improvements Ankor has made. There have been times with quite a bit less life than we have now.

Looking at the recent released material and those being worked on now give me lots of hope for the future. Thanks so much guys for all the work for our enjoyment and all for free blows me away.People like you took what was a lump of coal and turned it to a diamond. My beloved CFS3 still keeps me interested because all the countless hours others spend making this one of the best combat flight sims ever. Have all the payware available but it is all the freeware stuff that make it so great. Thank you modders for all you do for us . Best Regards,Scott
