• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I just want to say a big thank you to Obio for updating Greg Pepper's S.52 and to Mick for his repaints.

I had Greg's S.51 in my FS2002, but have only just got around to downloading Obio's updated version with some of Mick's repaints.

Along with Rick Piper's Sycamore, I think this S.51 will become a favourite helicopter.

I'll second that, really enjoyable helo. I dont have many egg-beaters in my hanger,but the Dragonfly is a keeper and will sit next to the Alpha S-55, Simshed Wessex and Piglets Mil24 in my hanger.

Credit for the most significant improvement in the S-51 goes to Michael Davies. He developed the flight dynamics files for the helo...without those files, this helo would not be as enjoyable to fly as she is.

I am glad that this update is being as widely received as it is....a bit of Greg Pepper's legacy will continue on for some time to come.

Tim and Michael did the heavy lifting. Most of "my" paints were just based on earlier paints by "Gray Wolf."

I will ammend my original post to say a very big thank you to all of you who worked hard to make Greg's old S.51 work in FS9.

I do appreciate all of your hard work for the benfit :ernae: of us who have little or no idea about software development.
