Depends on where you go it from. If you got it from our website in the past week you have the latest version. It has been sent out to the other websites that host it but not all of them have the updated files and images up yet.

Where is the B-24? I only saw the B-17 and assorted fighters in their products page. Did you perhaps mean you bought the B-17?

A bit too much touchdown smoke for me, though this is easily changed in the aircraft .cfg file. :)
First landing, dude... right on the money.​

Sound could be improved though it isn't all that bad, really. Great sound files can make a good fs plane outstanding.​

Good thing about these online sales is nobody gets trampled to death. My dad and I got our first computer on a Black Friday sale when I was about 13. My dad and I waited in line outside of a Walmart for an hour. When the doors opened it was chaos. When we got to the $800 computers they had all already been taken. I was starting to really worry. Dad had the brilliant idea to go to the very back of the store near the doors where they bring out items that they need to restock. Sure enough a few minutes went by and they started wheeling out more computers t.v.s and everything that the people up front were fighting over. We got everything we wanted and walked up the checkout counter peacefully. That was my first and last Black Friday Sale lol.

History

Thanks for the sale Cerberus. Flying is smooth, a real piece of war history and civilian history. About 8 years ago, or thereabouts I saw and walked around the Collings Foundation B-17, got in the waist gunners compartment. They were done flying for the day. I couldn't buy a ride but they were still offering walkarounds and inside. I got into the bomb bay on the tiny catwalk down the middle as well.

Now for a nice study of the manual. :icon29::applause:

I never knew any WWII 8th Air Force personel although I knew several WWII veterans when I was young. That time period isn't ancient history to me.

To me, this is the best B-17 available, thanks to all making it, and putting it on sale.:medals: Anyone know of paints?

A search of the AvSim file library for "aluminium_overcast.zip" by Gunnar van der Meeren will snag you a mighty fine repaint.
He has 2 others there as well, all quite nice. He's also working on some others, really good stuff too. :) Enjoy!

By the way, I used to suit up the crew members flying the plane in your sig banner, back in the mid-70s,
Beale AFB, Kadena AB. Loaded seat kits & chutes, as well (Physiological Support Division, 9th SRW).
