I don't ever remember getting this message but a few times before I reloaded FS9 and started using it again...

The one that says the heading is wrong, hit the B key ...Yada..Yada...Yada

It does it on every flight..........

Is there a way to *KILL* it for good? :help:

Thanks.......I have tool tips Off.....

Heading is usually the "D" key. The "B" key is for setting your altimeter straight (e.g. pressure alt).

Does it happen with all the other aircraft as well?, and ..have you used the "Y" key prior to flight? (as in, did you use the slew mode to move into starting position, and did you save that as your default flight?).

If yes, that might be the problem.

Having recently reinstalled, I had exactly that problem and also thought "Tool Tips" should have fixed it. There's another switch though.
From within a flight select aircraft settings (Alt+A) and choose "Realism settings", then turn off "Display flying tips" (top of window to the right) and see if things are better.
Now, if someone can tell me how to stop "Flight Simulator has experienced a problem ... do you want to send a report?" I will be happy! I doubt MS are still interested in user beta test reports for FS9!

I let it phone home those error messages to MS. It's their bandwidth :d.
