That was a pretty good Truck Race at Pocono

And Elliott Sadler, homeboy, won it.

The Truck Series is probably the closest thing in NASCAR to true Stock racing. The bodies look like what one buys on the showroom floor, no restrictor plates, and they mix it up like the old days. But Ron Hornaday is a bonehead, always has been. If he is to race, he is in the right series, he is too reckless for Nationwide or Cup, same can be said for Onion Bodine.

I've watched just a few truck races and it is rubbing fenders, beating, and banging style racing. Body styles will be changing for the Nationwide Series, the new cars will look a bit more like real cars. Maybe NASCAR should leave Sprint Cup like it is, giving us three very distinct divisions of racing.

Actually they ruining the Nationwide car and making an effin' COT, putting a wing on it and in lieu of the spoiler. The Challenger and Mustang look nothing like their stock car counterparts. It still sucks. Only the front ends look anything like the real cars and that's all decal.

NASCAR will go under in the next 10 years given the current economic situation, unless they get real close with their fan base who have top put up with their dictatorship. Somebody has to take a cut somewhere people-wise or they'll learn to live like the average unemployed American.

I missed the Nationwide COT debut race, but the pictures of the Nationwide COT that I've seen show the cars with a smaller front splitter, molded to the nose clip, and a rear spoiler. Did I miss something?

They had wings on the darn things at the showoff race. Hope that does change.

Yeah, I hope so too! The wing made the Sprint COT into a terror when it came to passing or, heaven forbid, you got turned around. The spoiler has made the COT behave and greatly reduced it's tendency to imitate an aircraft. After going back to the spoiler in the Sprint Cup car, I don't know why NASCAR would try it on the Nationwide car. Then again, NASCAR has a recent history of making poor decisions.

Uh-oh, I've just been fined by NASCAR for saying something derogatory about them.
