This has just caught my eye. Not sure if it has already been posted, but for those who have'nt seen it certainly seems novel:

Rates:
From January 2, 2009 - April 30, 2009
$350.00 daily plus tax
From May 01, 2009 - Nov 17, 2009 $300.00 daily plus tax

But... but... it's 5230 ft short of a "Mile High"

On the other hand, for $350 you'd otherwise get 5 hours in a cramped seat beside the "fat man" and then get hassled by customs -- without the shower -- and couldn't bring your own drinks

I wonder what they did with the cockpit... :ernae:

EVEN BETTER: they have a restaurant: http://www.costaverde.com/avion01.htm

Beauty and Tranquility.... Magnificient ocean views....

It's a two bedroom suite.... $300-$350 per night is absolutely a fair price. I work in one of the biggest hotel chain in the US of A and our two bedroom suite is priced $299 per night! This is a great place vacationing, overlooking an ocean. The Christmas rate is way too hight $500+. They have other room types and it is also fairly priced. (IMHO). I wonder their occupancy in slow season is!?

That's pretty cool. This is the first one of these kinds of things I've seen doen that I didn't hate. I would live in one.

Hotel suit my foot... I'd live in it year round if I could. But my property isn't big enough. :frown: Well, I 'd sell this place and find a spot for it somewhere. It sure is nice tho. I hope they didn't mess with the cockpit. That would be my computer room. :d

That's cool! I want a DC-10 for my cliff mounted airplane house though. More room! This one looks like it has stress issues around where it's being supported by the rock wall thingy. Hope the nose doesn't fall off and roll down the hill... :d

Could you imagine a 747??? Goodness. It would be a mantion... You could probably even park the cars in the cargo hold, lol...
