The Air Field That The Prototype Spitfire First Took Off From

I have many of the UK air fields for FS9 many I got from British Classics Web Site, why dose not someone creat the air field the prototype Spitfire flew from for the first time on March 5, 1936? I have seen pictures of the Vickers factory and the grass field.

Cheers

The Spitfire's first flight was from Eastleigh, which still exists today as Southampton Airport (although there is an active campaign to get it named after R.J. Mitchell).

Supermarine were not the only company to use it for testing, Cunliffe-Owen and Cierva also used it; Saunders-Roe took over Cierva and had a rotor testing facility at the site until the early 1960s. There is a scenery package on Flightsim which takes it back to 1988, but definitely scope for taking it back further to the era of grass runways; I believe they still only had grass when Silver City were flying the Channel car ferry routes, but don't quote me on that.
