....Very cool. I wonder though how much 'extra-punch' the afterburner adds,...or is it strictly a visual effect?....
 
i notice alot of r/c jets tend to porpoise when the land. anyone know why that is?


It has a lot to do with how it's landed, I think. It happens in real aircraft with new pilots, but it's easier to train them out of it because they are sitting in the cockpit and have better perception. There aren't many RC planes I'd want to fly without a cockpit camera.
