The GKS F-111E: cockpit lighting...

Hi,

First off, a happy New Year to all of you here at the sim-outhouse...

I have had this plane for a couple of weeks now, since the wings patch came out.

I cannot see how I can control the panel lighting other than with the L toggle key. The lighting panel on the back bulkhead has all the switches, but the rotary knobs controlling panel lighting do not work at all. How do I control the panel lighting from within the VC, anyone have any clues or idea?

Although the included manual alludes to the switches being operative, they are not. The "L" button is the only way I know how to turn them on. I would love to find a way to shut off the flood lights and dim the instrument lights at night.

Thanks for the reply. Just what I thought...

I also posted on f111-fsx.com on their forum. It looks like it is an area they might want to improve on in the future, providing multiple lighting scenarios by setting up an external module... much like others we have seen.

Sort of kills the Cold War bomber thing with all the cockpit lights blazing away... ;)

No doubt an update to look for in the future...
