I'm back, just got done Flying The Albatross DIII OAW in FSX

Whatta Gyp that is . . . . I've been spoiled . . . the guns don't fire

The engine idles to slow, sounds like a popcorn machine . . BUT

The Rocker Arms Move, and you can see the valve springs moving

And the Gauges look like those in a DC 3

And it's got Brakes :kilroy:

The gauges in my Alb looked fine and thougt that it flew well. On the other side I have downloaded the Camel for FSX and though it looked nice on the outside, it was a real challenge to fly. I believe you can disable the brakes or of course just not use them. I fly a lot of FSX and in most cases, think the aircraft are amazing. I would love to be able to get better graphics out of BHAH as far as the interiors of some of the screenshots I have seen, but my computer just ccan't handle putting the sliders beyond 2! Where as in FSX I can get great detail out of them. A little of both both I guess. The Alb I had had a horrendous paint job though. Wish I could find a screenie of it

Hello Gimpy,
the D.III OAW did that already in FS2004, i did post it back then when waiting for P3 :gossip:. There are alot a lot of other nice free pioneer planes like the Antoinette, Blériot 11, a Farman, Voisin and whatnot.
Greetings,
Catfish

Gimpy - why have you got brakes on your Alb, and I don't?
Well, but therefor I've got guns, that fire! Just made a jigsaw puzzle of Guynemer and two of his wingmen. They also hit me several times, but: I'm flying the most robust plane here, besides the SPAD.
