The Hawker Hurricane -Battle of Britain

Mostly Mk 1's and 1a's, Though were there a few sportin' 20mm cannons at the end of 1940? (not sure)

When did we see the very 1st IIc's?

:kilroy:Popsaka,
Hurricane Mk IIC (Hurricane Mk IIA Series 2): The Hurricane Mk IIA Series 1 was equipped with new and slightly longer propeller spinner and new wing mounting four 20 mm Hispano cannons. Hurricane Mk IIA Series 2 became the Mk IIC in June 1941, using a slightly modified wing. The new wings also included a hardpoint for a 500 lb or 250 lb bomb, and, I bellieve, later in 1941, fuel tanks. By then, performance was inferior to the latest German fighters, and the Hurricane was changed to the ground-attack role, sometimes referred to as the Hurribomber. The mark also served as a night-fighter and intruder. I hope this helps.:d
