I know that it is statistically possible for Denny to overcome a 49 point deficit and take the championship, but realistically it's not likely to happen. Looks like it will be the Jimmie Johnson Show for the rest of this season.

I haven't written Brad off - I merely stated that I thought Jimmie would win another....

Considering the history of the 48 team and The Chase, once the 48 team gains the momentum and the points lead, they usually win the championship. It's still possible he won't, but there is a lot of history here.
