The joy of Easter! Too much to chose from...

Nah, I am actually not a jet-lover at all, more into props. But the Vucan is so iconic and of such great looks it becomes tempting for a reduced price! But indeed it´s all about diversity, the redone A2A B17 is also mouthwatering to me at the moment... In the end it all comes down to eyecandy for me, I guess!

I don't have the vulcan but it looks fantastic. The only reason that I'm not picking it up is because I can't stand to fly planes without visibility. Having sat in vulcan cockpits I can assure you it is very much like the real thing!

If you like the Vulcan you should download this in an instant.

How does the Iris Vulcan compare to the Justflight one ?

I don't have the Justflight one. However, I was on the beta team for the Iris one. We took months and months to fine tune the FDE, which was done by our own warchild. She flies as close to the actual Dash-1 performance charts as you will get in FSX.

Not having flown this plane for real, I was amazed at the power this bird had. My only real world experience in "bombers" was the B-52. This thing was more like a big fighter.

The vis comment Skittles is right on. But, you do get the impression that you are in the real airplane.

Although I'm more into vintage propeller aircraft, the Vulcan was an absolute must for me, having lived on V-bomber bases as a child.

Iris have done it proud, and although I can't compare it to the Justflight one ( I don't own it ), you wont go far wrong with the FSX-native Iris model.

Here's XM607 ( of Operation Black Buck fame ) departing Edwards, where I learned to fly it.

I already have the Justflight one, and although visually, the Iris one looks alot better, I just wanted to see if anyone has owned both who could help me to make that decision.

Cheers

I have both and the iris one is 100% better inside and out the start up procedires are moddled and the FDE is spot on well so I think anyway!

there have been alot of sweet deals come up in the last few days. i just can't find anything i really want.
in the last year i bought the kodiak, the cirrus vision, the su p-38, christen eagle, piper warrior, the epic victory. on top of that i have (already had) the carenado cessnas, maam-sims briefing time, and some really cool freeware. even though the deals have been awesome lately, there's only 1 plane on my must have list, and nobody has any plans to make it.
