THE RAF AT WAR

Because of middle school requirements, I must have a source of reading(book), so I went to the non-fiction section of my school library and found a book named"THE RAF AT WAR".View attachment 70876

Well I just began to read a bit and have found some information on aircraft such as a Mine Sweeping Wellington, the Two-Blade Spit, Captured Stuka, and a Oxford Airspeed Trainer used for bombardier training.

I also skimmed a bit and found some info on Marmaduke Thomas St.John "Pat Pattle", Guy Penrose Gibson, William "Bill" Reid, and many more pilots!

Also a scuffle between 8 Ju-88s and 1 Sunderland, resulting in 3 Ju-88s lost after 20 passes, the Sundy was damaged and kept going, 1 of the 13 crew members aboard the Sundy was killed, and the Ju-88s failed. AFTER 20 PASSES!!!!!!!!!!!

The book also includes photos of aircraft, the insides of some, and a little story about each of them.

I'm gonna love this!

Maybe some of the existing we have available planes could be modified, such as the welly to have a mine sweeper.

Thanks I hope to do a report in this great book when I finish it, oh and there's a younger photo of your avatar!

Jaycee did a Ju 52 minesweeper mod a little while ago which he let me help out on. Think he's busy on some other projects, but if he or anyone else wanted to do one for the Wellington I'd be happy to work out the effects.
