take a look at this french 23 minutes video presenting the
CSR "Centre Simulation Rafale" at Landivisiau Naval Base.

Firstly the real Super Étendard Modernisé analogic simulator
and
Secondly the real Rafale Marine digital simulator powered
by two racks of 80 x PC's each. ( 160 PC's ? )

Actually 180 PCs twice 90 because there're two cabins to teach flying in a wide variety of tactical situations.

Don't you love the 8 facets screen (they call it a geod) each driven by 4 video cards ? I want one.

The journalist got a 45 minutes shot in the Rafale sim. Lucky him... He says taht at the end he was drenched by sweat .
