i've landed on all but #9 in fsx. as for global warming flooding kansai, not gonna happen. that's a bet i'd take if i knew i was going to be alive long enough to collect.

It is.

When the airport was built, engineers knew it would sink as the ground compacted, so the terminal is on jacks to allow it to compensate.

However, after the airport opened, it began sinking far faster than anyone had expected, although the rate seems to have slowed down to about what was predicted within the last few years.
