• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

My older sister recommended this TV program on Netflix. I watched a couple episodes and I'm hooked. It's a series of mini-documentaries that airs on Showtime based on the NPR radio program. They have the entire library of radio shows archived online to listen for free, and they do podcasts too. The TV version is on Itunes and Netflix instant-watch. They talk about random stories that are thought-provoking, funny, entertaining and just downright interesting. Some are about politics or current events but the majority are just everyday people with an interesting story to tell. I've been listening to the older episodes on the drive to school in the morning.

You just click on the year and choose an episode, then click to stream the episode. They are approx. 1hr long.

I just finished #402 which I thought was particularly interesting about a guy who turned vigilante and went to Mexico to rescue a girl who had been kidnapped .
