Only 41,000 hours!! Let me get my checkbook! :icon_lol:

Actually, the engines are low time and the price is reasonable. I wouldn't mind it if that ended up in my hanger. (If I had a hanger.)

$185,000 for the aircraft

$100.00 for a 20 minute ride per passenger

If you did it one passenger at a time thats 12,333 hrs until its paid for (not including fuel, maintenance and etc)

2 = 6,166 hrs

4 = 3,083 hrs

I would just have to get my Private pilots license, Multi engine rating, commercial pilots license and few other things I don't know about. :icon_lol:.

Knowing that there are only 2080 hrs in a work year (40 hrs per week 52 weeks in a year)

Working weekends only 832 hrs / year

That makes it a break even point in 14.82 years with only one customer for each 20 minute period.

Add and subtract for multiple customers and lag time (SWAG) I could have it paid off in 20 to 30 years.

HUMMMM

I wonder if the wife will like living in a plane?

Let me see. Seating for 12. At $100 per person for a 20 minute flight. If could squeeze in two flights an hour, thats $2400 per hour. If did flights for 4 hours, that would be 8 flights at $1200 a flight. $9600. 2 hours and 40 minutes of flight time....say $2000 in expenses. Leaving $7600 toward the cost of the plane. 30 days of such flights would bring in $228,000. Paying for the plane and leaving a bit for maintenance and upkeep. After the first 30 days, the $228,000 would be pure profit and would allow lots of money to improve and maintain the bird.

Don't forget to add insurance, tiedown, type rating. I'm looking for a Cessna 150/152, but it needs to be FREE. Anyone have one to donate to the museum??? DC3 much too big! :(
