Turned on qualifying just for background noise and to see the Ferrari's on home turf.
Damp and wet and cold!
Porpoising horrible but I have a solution, go back to flat under-bodies! :redfire::redfire::redfire:
:encouragement:

-Excellent finish by Max and RBR!
-Haas/Jan!!!!!
-Danny Ricciardo finally feeling love
-George continues to outshine Lewis

Weather just as evil in Portugal!
Cold, windy and soaking rain.
Must be horrible to try to ride a 300HP MotoGP bike in those conditions.
:dejection:

Wow!
-Max & RBR through some serious 1-2 punches at Ferrari!
-George Russell still in a great position of Mercedes can get a bit more competitive
-Magnussen grabbing more points!

Not a good weekend for Ferrari. Bad luck for Sainz and Lecrerc was too eager to get Perez. Obviously there was more grip on the left side from the start grid (Verstappen, Perez, Norris) as they were in front after the first corner (Leclerc, Sainz and Riciardo at the right side).

Teammates from last year.... Valtteri Bottas 5th in an Alfa (Sauber) and Hamilton 13th in a Mercedes..........

Personally I thought the qualifying of the MotoGP was better than the race. Jack Miller didn't do himself a favour..... Perhaps a bit lucky, but Aleix Espargaro on the podium again with his Aprilia, which brings Aprilia above the Ducati in the standings......

Cheers,
Huub

I was REALLY annoyed by the Imola commentary 'experts' whinging about the lack of DRS!
No DRS made the racing relatively interesting and allowed for some demon overtakes.
:encouragement:

MotoGP weekend was interesting, Jack and Mir attempting to out brake one another could only end one way!
Fabio back on form, didn't hear any complaining about the lack of speed from the Yamaha.
And props to Aprilia, Aleix rode the wheels off it.
:applause:

Absolutely, the lack of preparation time before qualifications is really interesting and this is how it should be on routine week-end formats. EL1 Friday afternoon, Quali on Sunday afternoon and then a 45' warmup on Sunday morning which may be welcome for those who have done major repairs or replaced components. And then, race!
