Found this post from FSX .With DaveWG post about the .dll file it works great!
Thanks for reminding me how nice this aircraft is...

Click on the blue(Instructions) in the box you downloaded the aircraft from to show you how to merge the F-18 VC into this aircraft- Thanks Ferry_v0!

"My own solution was to open the FA-18_Interior.mdl in notepad++ (not MS notepad) and search for fx_navred. I changed that to read fx_navrep and saved. No more floating red navlight & all the other lights work as they should."
Using Notepad++ from here(free): http://notepad-plus-plus.org/
Using that fix the red light is GONE!
EDIT: As per DaveWG, copy the f18.dll from the FSX gauge folder and paste into the P3D gauge folder
