ThrustMaster "T.16000M FCS"/"T.16000M FCS ST" Joystick Differences?

Can anyone shed any light on the differences of the ThrustMaster T.16000M joysticks?

The first one that I bought quite some time ago was the first version of the joystick that had green LEDs for the lights on the top of the base. I later bought the second version of the joystick that had orange LEDs for the lights on the top of the base.

The LEDs on both of these joysticks operated the same... as soon as you move the joystick, the LEDs light up bright, and only turn off when the joystick is exactly centered.

About two years ago I bought another one of the orange LED version of the joystick, as well as the "Space Sim Duo" set of joysticks.

The single joystick LEDs light up bright (as explained above). But, the "Space Sim Duo" joysticks' LEDs start out off, and then then fade slowly to brighter as you move the sticks to their extremities.

I then recently (last week) bought yet another set of "Space Sim Duo" joysticks, but the LEDs on THESE two NEW ones are bright, and do not fade in and out depending on joystick position (like the "Space Sim Duo" set of joysticks that I bought two years ago.

Now on to the weird part. The model numbers for the joysticks are:

T.16000M - The original green LED version.

T.16000M FCS - The newer orange LED version.

T.16000M FCS ST (model of each of the joysticks in the set) - The FIRST "Space Sim Duo" set of joysticks that I bought two years ago.

T.16000M FCS (model of each of the joysticks in the set) - The SECOND "Space Sim Duo" set of joysticks that I bought last week.

I would have thought that the T.16000M FCS ST would be a newer revision of the T.16000M FCS (as having the LEDs fade in and out would be preferable in a darker room), but apparently not (?).

BTW, here's the ONLY thing on the Internet that I have found referring to the "T.16000M FCS ST" joysticks, a video of the two different models LED lights in operation -> . You can better understand what I'm trying to say by watching the video. The one of the left is a "T.16000M FCS", and the one on the right is a "T.16000M FCS ST".

NOTHING is mentioned on ThrustMaster's site (or any of the various product listings around the Internet) about this "ST" version of the joystick, which apparently was sold/included two years ago in the "Space Sim Duo" set, but not currently in the "Space Sim Duo" set.
