Hi All
I wondered if there is anyone here that flies helo's using the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS?
So far I cant find any guidance or tutorials specific to this hardware in the forums or on Utube.
I have followed a couple of videos which :-
Made the recommended changes to the flight model selection bug (Legacy <> Modern).
1) assign the Collective Axis to my throttle control axis (R to Z axis) [reverse axis ticked]
2) assign the Cyclic Longitudinal axis to the forward/back of the joystick (L to Y axis) [reverse axis ticked]
3) assign the Cyclic Lateral axis to the left/right movement of the joystick (L to X axis) [reverse axis ticked]
4) assign the tail rotor axis to my Saitek rudder pedals [R to Z axis) [reverse axis ticked]
I have also assigned trim switches on the joystick for Rotor Longitudinal and Lateral trim again as per the videos.

Having done all this I find that I can raise the helicopter smoothly up and down like a lift using my "throttle/ collective" control without any forward / backward drift or lateral movement.
I can swing the nose 360 degrees using my rudder pedals.
However, my joystick (Cyclic) has no effect at all so I can't move forward or sideways nor do my trim controls seem to have any effect.
In fact the joystick in the helicopter doesn't visibly move at all whereas the collective lever responds to my throttle hardware.
Wondered if there are any rotarians out there that could help please.
Thanks
