time and season

when i try to fly at night, but i change the time and season to summertime, at dawn, the flight loads at night, at the current date. is there any way to fix that? i should be able to choose any time any season.

There's some utility FSRealTime (?) or something, that syncs the game time to your computer's time. Are you using such a thing?

not unless it snuck on to my computer somehow. my fsx is stock except for some add-on planes.
