• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Harleyman, along with some great tech-types at the Neo-Smart forums, did their best to help me fix some computer boot problems I've been experiencing for several days now. But I am throwing the towel in, before I make things worse.

Am packing everything up, and driving up near Union City, TN tomorrow. A friend of mine, who helped me build my system over three years ago, is going to help me try to get things right again.

Anyway, it's not a long trip for me, but hopefully I'll be "back in the saddle" again by this weekend.

Visiting this forum is a daily habit for me. I'll miss it!

Dang NC, Union City is about a 20 min drive from here! That's a pretty good drive across Tennessee.

Hope you guys get it all fixed and running like new again.. Enjoy the road trip in the mean time..

I always took my units to Best Buy's Geek Squad. They have heard of all of the virus' and things.
