One thing to try out is if you are experiencing microstuttering and using Afterburner, then check that all the monitoring is off. Even if you don't have the onscreen display on, the software is polling data which can cause performance issues. Power monitoring is especially notorious for causing issues with several games.
One has to remember that the game is made by Asobo, not MS Game Studios. It is pretty small studio and what I've gathered, FS2020 has been in developement for four years. DX11 was and in many cases is the safer and easier way to go.Quite strange for me that Microsoft, who talks and advertises all the time his Dx12+ and his "great" features did a game in ... Dx11.
